We created a brand system for Ciao — a salon chain provides haircutting service only. Ciao does not provide services such as shampooing, blowing, shaving and so on, but only aim to provide the specialized service – haircutting.
To promote Ciao we created a brand system that extended to Ciao as well as the “quick haircutting culture” that rolled out across Guangzhou, China. The campaign spurred the creation of the lion – the Ciao mascot inspired by the scissors icon – obsessed on styling the perfect haircut for every each of his customers.
We included an wechat application that people could book their hairstylist with testimonial online without calling, encouraging customers with our tagline “Be A Roaring Icon.”
